Activation of the eSIM failed

Problem description:  After scanning the QR code or installing the profile, the activation does not start or gets stuck.

Possible solutions: 

  • Check if the operating system and the network operator settings are up to date.
  • Ensure that an internet connection is available during activation.
  • Follow the installation instructions carefully:
    1. Open the activation email: 
      Scan the QR code with your smartphone or tablet, or use the activation link in the email.
    2. Install the profile: 
      Follow the on-screen instructions to add the eSIM profile.
    3. Activate mobile data: 
      In Settings → Mobile Data, enable mobile data and data roaming.
    4. Select Simtaly: 
      Ensure that Simtaly is set as the preferred data connection.
  • Unlock the device and check the SIM lock.
  • Remove old eSIM profiles and install them if necessary.new.
